Quality assurance (CQA) of the execution of earthworks and civil works of the R1-5 tailings dam, U.E.A.(Administrative economic unit)

Resumen: The objective of this service is to ensure that each stage of Earthworks and Civil Works at the R1-5 Tailings Dam (including the R1-5 Dam Buttress, the R4-5 Channel, and the R1-2 Tailings Dam Buttress at UEA Julcani) meets the highest quality standards and technical specifications. Lara Consulting comprehensively supervised each quality control activity, performing detailed field inspections and verifying materials through laboratory tests, to ensure that the work progresses in accordance with the designs and construction standards established by CMB.
Descripción:
1. QA for Earthworks and Civil Works for the R1-5 Tailings Dam, including supervision of the R1-5 Reservoir Buttress, the R4-5 Channel, and the R1-2 Tailings Dam Buttress at UEA Julcani, in accordance with the construction drawings and specifications provided by CMB
2. Inspection of field work and laboratory testing of construction materials to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
3. QA management in the construction of the R1-5 Buttress, the Sealing of the R4-5 Channel, and the Reinforcement of the R1-2 Buttress.
4. The QA team includes 2 supervisors and 1 lab technician, operating on rotating shifts of 20 days on and 10 days off, with reliefs starting in August 2024.
5. Scheduled start of activities by July 15, 2024, covering all necessary QA activities on the R1-5 Buttress, the R4-5 Channel Sealing, and the R1-2 Buttress Reinforcement.
6. Key deliverables from Lara Consulting include a Quality Control Dossier Report containing the As-built Report, with daily field reports, documentation of design changes, non-conformities, and “as-built” drawings provided by the construction company.
7. QA document that includes the foundation release and layer conformation and release protocols, laboratory and fresh concrete test results for channel R4-5 performed by the contractor and verified by QA, surveillance reports (SVR), Requests for Information (RFI), non-conformities (NCR) and changes in specifications or design, if necessary.
