Basic Engineering of Deposit 7 and the Filtered Waste Treatment Plant (PTRF)

Resumen: Lara Consulting performed the Basic and Feasibility Engineering update for the Filtered Tailings Treatment Plant (PTRF) and Deposit 7 of the “New Deposit 7” project of NEXA Resources. The focus of this work was to optimize the design to reduce the initial investment (CAPEX) without affecting the processes, ensuring a compact plant that maximizes the use of available spaces. Relocations and adjustments were included to take advantage of unused infrastructure and equipment and avoid interruptions in operations during construction. In addition, Lara Consulting managed the obtaining of environmental and operational licenses in accordance with Peruvian standards, guaranteeing regulatory compliance and operational continuity.
