Feasibility study for the extraction of tailings from the R7 deposit and disposal in the R1-R5 Deposit – U.E.A.(Administrative economic unit) Julcani

Resumen: A geotechnical engineering project was carried out, focused on the evaluation and improvement of the stability of the R1-R5 and R7 tailings deposits. The study included a detailed geological-geotechnical site survey, as well as the supervision of drilling to characterize soil properties. Based on this information, specific design criteria were established to ensure the stability of the deposits. Tailings extraction works were designed for the R7 deposit, and the overall stability of the R1-R5 deposit was evaluated. In addition, a conceptual design was developed for the R1-R5 deposit, including stabilization works and improvements. Finally, detailed engineering drawings were prepared for the implementation of the proposed solutions.
