Resumen: Lara Consulting has developed a comprehensive project for the characterization and stabilization of tailings deposits through field investigations, updated geotechnical and seismic studies, and the design of control systems. This includes supervision of drilling, material characterization, stability analysis, and the creation of drawings and specifications for the safe disposal of tailings and water management, ensuring the safety and stability of the designed structures.

1. Execution and supervision of drilling and test pits to obtain geotechnical profiles and material strength tests.
2. Logging, recording, and transportation of extracted samples for laboratory testing.
3. Updating the geotechnical characterization of the tailings based on field and laboratory test results.
4. Zoning and evaluation of water levels and the strength of deposited materials.
5. Updating the seismic hazard study, with estimates of maximum expected seismic accelerations.
6. Analysis of physical stability and seepage of the proposed disposal under static and seismic conditions.
7. Use of topographic surveys, instrumentation data, and test results for geometric stability modeling.
8. Preparation of detailed engineering drawings for tailings disposal and surface water control works.
9. Development of technical specifications for the disposal of filtered material, excavation, and fill placement.
10. Creation of specifications for the use of geosynthetics in the project.
