Resumen: Lara Consulting developed a project for CMB that includes the extraction of tailings from the R8 deposit and their transfer to the Herminia pit as part of the closure plan, minimizing instability risks. The work includes a construction report with drawings and specifications for safe extraction and drainage, containment structures, and a tailings disposal plan for the pit. With a "Fast track" approach, the project allows adjustments during construction based on field data and reconnaissance visits.
Descripción:
1. Field reconnaissance visit and information gathering in R8 tailings deposit and Herminia pit.
2. Collection of field information by a hydraulic engineer and a geotechnical engineer.
3. Design of the excavation procedure in the R8 tailings deposit, including drainage, access and water management.
4. Preparation of construction drawings and specifications for supervision and quality assurance.
5. Design of drainage systems and tailings disposal plan and mine clearance in Herminia pit.
6. Stability verification and design of containment structures for Herminia pit.
7. Accessibility design and water management in Herminia pit.
8. Development of a total of 19 plans for both facilities.
9. Preparation of 3 technical specifications and 1 quality assurance manual for earthworks.
